Steffe's old tree

First longer bike trip I took this summer went to "That Old Tree" my friend Stuffed often take photos off, it is located in a lovely rural area near Tungelsta. One branch did break during a storm not long a go and is now hanging down on one side, but it is just another part of this trees history.

Rune stone

Today I did visit a newly found rune stone (and fragment) in the rural Haninge area, I did try to read it, but the sun was behind gray clouds and the lack of shadows made it hard for me to see the runes.

My first try to translate this stone is: "kunaR : auk:ulfR : auk : sighiainmR : litu:?isa : ???in : ai_: halftan : fa[th]rR : sin : ku[th] : hial (bi: ) - <: ant : hans>".

In more mordern language it can be, "Gunnar and Ulf and Sig??? let rais stone after their father Halfdan. God help his spirit". Mine translation may be wrong, for I do not read runes so often nowadays and I did not see the text so clearly on the rune stone and we did not spend so much time here.

The last letters of the "halbi" is standing outside of the ornament and ":ant:hans" is standing on the side of the stone. The "a" in the word "father" is written in the lock that ties the snake to the cross.

Urban life

This small house has lovely look and it stand just outside the most urban area of Harden.

A Short Walk

I took a short walk and found a place  I shall return to and take more photos.

Weather

It is cold and rainy outside so I will spend the day inside. Just now I just wait for summer and a new bicycle.

Rain and pain

It was rainy today and i still has no bicycle, so i feel a bit stuck here at Malmens Konditori just now.

Family therapy

This house do the municipality owns and use as family therapy, it is an nice hose that is bit older than the urban area near by.

Flower Land

I had plans to go to Tyresta national park today, but I got stuck in my home area where I did visit Blomster Landet where I took some photos.

Industry area

This is a view from Jordbro industrial area, but on the other side a small lake there is a green residential area.
